Praise and Glory be to GOD at all times now and forever!
What the Lord our GOD made as for plants , flowers, trees has always amazed me leaving me just to look how beautiful they are! Above all how creative loving HE is! With all of this going to mind , seeing GOD’s power, patience, and wisdom I am still so grateful for HIS Son Jesus! I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I am no ashamed of it. Grateful for what GOD did according to John 3:16
King James Version (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
See, I have read according to the research I have Googled on line and elsewhere that the sunflower follows the rising of the sun everyday from the east to west then back to east. Then finally they will hand their heads east in the end of their lives. This is so interesting to me to me how this large , beautiful, happy, majestic looking flower follows the Lords light! I have always loved these plants, and even more so as I watch how they grow. I am sharing a picture of one I have grown in my garden.
The one you see in the picture is the variety that will grow well over 7 feet tall with the best nourishment…feeding of their “souls” as they follow the sun. The more they are feed this nourishment of compost they get stronger and taller and able to withstand the strong winds and rain. Like when we pray and read the word of GOD. This is what will feed our souls and give us comfort.
Matthew 6:28
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Their bases are solid into the ground, depending on what the Lord will naturally provide for them too. And like them, our base and our rock is Jesus. For well will not fall with Him…He holds us up! I have seen these flowers not budge during a hard rain, all they did was to grow even taller and their roots settle even deeper into the ground with the width of their stalks widen. Getting more secure into the foundation in the ground. Jesus and reading the word will do the same thing too for us all.
Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
This is what I see for all of us who do believe in GOD and know that Jesus is HIS only begotten Son sent to earth to save us all from the sins that we all have done our whole lives long. The sacrifice that was made on that, so many years ago….the suffering that our beloved Jesus went through because of love was totally unconditional love. Jesus sent by GOD the Father of all creation, to save us all and to be able to see the face of GOD when we die is so humbling for me.
If you think about it like this, we should follow the SON like the sunflower does regarding the SUN. Follow Jesus from the morning of our wake, to sunset of the day to night and the rising of the SON from to the day when Jesus will returns to take us all home again to be with Him and to be able to bow and humble ourselves and see the face of GOD!
GOD is good, from the beginning of all time and to the end when we all face “east” and it is our last day on earth. And if we have not died before Jesus does return, we want to be ready. Not getting caught up in the ways of the world that is a distraction in the connection with GOD and Jesus. That is what the evil one is doing, trying to cause a break in the love connection with our GOD.
Think about this, in this way as we could compare ourselves to this wonderful flower that the LORD created to share with us all. The sunflower does not waver its connection with GOD’s light when there are no distractions blocking it from the sun such as trees, buildings and bushes. The grow straight and tall, all they want to do is to stay focused on HIS light from day to day until their end of life.
When you see a sunflower, remember how they follow the sun and how we all should follow the SON of GOD.
Hebrews 12:2King J354ames Version (KJV)
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Praise GOD at all times!
Have a blessed day and peace!
