I call my locs Nubianlocs. I have started them as small box braids and just retwisted them every month or so to keep them neat.

The braids were put in 2-15-08, and I have felt so good about this natural hair and locs that I wanted to share this experience.

It is freeing ones self from he harsh chemicals used to maintain an unnatural look for women of color who do not have naturally straight hair.

This is a continuing learning process for me as to what is going to give my hair the beat treatment to keep it moist and soft and not to dry out.
