I am used to diversity in cultures, different types of people getting along with each other’s company (for the most part.😉😉😉). So when you grow up in an environment like this it seems the norm.
You are used to a smorgasbord of cultures in one island. It is like traveling the world using mass transit! The friends, the foods, the cultures , clothes and lifestyles!
Learning the good stuff from good people in all cultures. Everyone’s mother or dad is a excellent cook and will feed you good.
The whole lifestyle which is a melting pot including everybody is what makes downstate New York unique.
Upstate New York is a bit different. So it may not be for all people. Because it isn’t.
I do hope your Sunday was blessed! The service at the Church is had attended talked about helping other members in the body of Christ.
This was a good sermon to have heard. For many of us may intend to do good and not have a chance to do so. Or just never really thought about because of what we may be going through in our lives
There is a relief and lighter feeling within when you are led to do something good for a person. When they appreciate what you have done and show it!
I know many in my life who where Christians in the mind body and soul. Not just in title, many people will claim to be a Christian who are fake. And not be in the heart mind and soul a true GOD fearing Christian
Too many of these people around who are the fake Christians, who like i have said. Causing all kinds of evil no matter where they be. Even in church you will find all kinds of trouble makers there too.
As we pray, do so for all people you know along with ourselves too. That they will be right, and we ourselves too. It’s easy to see others burdens but not our own.
Compassion and care, seeing a person’s need and giving them the help they need too. GOD sees what we do and knows it comes from a sincere heart ❤️
I hope all is well for you and all of your loved ones. Staying in prayer and putting GOD first at all times in all that you do is more important than anything we can ever do.
2024 was really a different king of “season ” for me, meaning not a good one. I lost two of my loved ones that took the wind out of my sails in such a way that made me cling closer to GOD than I have ever been!
My mother passed away, then my husband 92 days later. And i still had to make it into work every day too. Bills had to be paid. I could not depend on my husband for anything any more. I couldn’t call my mom up for advice or to hear her voice.
Same for my husband too. No more husband with whom i could get advice that only a good Godly man can give. Both were my best friends after GOD and JESUS.
I think it hurts worse loosing your mother. She can’t be replaced for you only get one and her love is different than a husband’s in how love is. The level is different . The type is different obviously. But it is still missed.
When dealing with things we once did as man and wife becomes doing everything on my own. It is hard, but getting up and out to work is different too.
My heart is broken over loosing them both close together was a horrible shock! Taking all i could do, and ask our beloved FATHER GOD to help me with is getting me into this new season I am in right now at the beginning stages of coping.
For all of you going through a loss recently, I want you to know it will get better each day with GOD ans JESUS takling you by the hand and leading you on this new journey in your life.
The struggle is real hard of a load to bear. But with our beloved FATHER GOD and JESUS our savior this struggle will lighten up through their passion and grace.
Revelation 21:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Nothing man-made or in nature that can compare to the comfort that I get from prayer to the one and only true living and perfect GOD.
HE understands me. HE sees what I go through each day and with HIS love and grace I do feel loved. For HE will and has fixed what needs to be fixed in all my situations.
I pray that you all are well and good. There are so many things in this world as one who seeks to be in GOD’S order we need to always be in control of.
I hear many women and men who gave up on relationships due to the morals many men don’t have. Right now i am speaking mostly towards the women. For men can walk away with out worrying about getting pregnant. No commitment at all.
Remaining single and celibate is becoming the normal lifestyle for single Christian people now. The ways of the world has made many Christians to avoid dating. There are not too many true Christian people who choose to remain celibate and to wait until marriage .
I have seen women so desperate to be married as to initiate a wedding proposal on one knee to their boyfriend.
And then be rejected. This is popular on social media right now. I am old school, I would never do something like that.
I came across Adam Cam . He pretty much said what I heard and was told growing up. Men are the ones who make the first move. Initiator of showing interest in the woman.
If you Google the information on Adam Cam where you can see this video. He will use strong language on Facebook, I don’t feel he is saved. But this particular video I am showing he didn’t cuss. And that is good so you can pay attention to what the topic is.
When a man is Being lead by our beloved FATHER GOD in all things, he is seeking a wife. Not a girlfriend to play games with. The GODLY woman who is waiting for a husband will get one. But by putting GOD first.
1 Corinthians 7
7 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
6 But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.
9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.
23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.
27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.
28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.
29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;
31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
38 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.
39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit.
As we follow the ways of what GOD has made by law for us mankind, life is so much easier and peaceful too.
A good spouse will respect you, honor you and your marriage, never cheat on you, won’t hide anything from (unless its a gift wrapped up to surprise you.) Put GOD 1st then the both of you. Pray every day together and attending a good Church. To listen to each other. Love each other and never use each or be selfish. Never to cause stress on each other. Talk to gain understanding and to bond along with prayer for the marriage. The devil is sneaky and cunning and will try to break up a good GODLY marriage.
This was on my heart today, because of what I see happening around me. For people in my Christian circle and those who are secular too.
I hope this is encouraging for those who needed to hear it. Stay in prayer at all times even when get your mate.
I hope you all are well. I answered a prompt today here on WordPress. About, “what are you curious about?” I am curious as to when our beloved savior JESUS will return.
It made me to think further on this topic. For like many who see the confusion of all that goes on basically starts from evil that is from the devil and his demons. It’s so sad when you think about where temptation comes from, and who is the most vulnerable to it to act out on it!
This temptation most certainly doesn’t come from GOD who is pure good.
James 1:13
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:”
King James Version (KJV)
Those who are not believers in our beloved FATHER GOD, or have little faith can be easily led into satans confusion. For not reading the Bible, praying to GOD, accepting JESUS as savior will leave no covering on one against the evil one.
The evil one is very persistent in causing trouble. Those who were brought up to not take GOD seriously are the ones who pass immoral laws and practices that go against all that GOD says not to do.
This has those of us who want to be right with GOD, see all of this evil around us and stay in prayer 🙏🏾 waiting on JESUS.
You may tell people the word of GOD, but many will not listen. It’s their choice.
Looking up to the heavens, seeing the SUN in the sky and thinking about the SON of GOD. Looking at the clouds to see if there is a change. Is the sky about to crack open.
Still we wait.
I will continue to wait on our beloved FATHER GOD to send our savior JESUS. To bring us home.
I have read the scriptures in regarding when our savior will return. For only our beloved FATHER GOD knows when. JESUS doesn’t know when either
For of us who do love JESUS, and do have a wonderful spiritual relationship with GOD and HIS SON JESUS, we wait for the coming again.
It is very hard to stay on the path of righteousness alone without JESUS. It is impossible. For JESUS has the keys to the kingdom where our heavenly FATHER GOD resides. And only JESUS will allow in who HE sees is fit. So I want to do my best to stay in righteousness with our beloved FATHER GOD and HIS SON JESUS leading.
I hope all of you are well and are keeping your faith. We all have tests and trials to go through in different times of our lives.
We need to stay focused on one thing that is more important than anything here on this earth. That is our beloved FATHER GOD.
We can’t depend on anyone or anything but GOD. And if you are blessed to live and learn about life you will see that. You may have parents when you were a child that mean well in preparation to take you places you want to go to. But because they may have planned honestly and expected things to go right, they couldn’t keep their promise.
You didn’t know the whole story as to why you couldn’t depend on them talking you to the beach. All you know was that day you weren’t going. Even though you have been there many times before. Just that on THAT day you were not going.
You depended on them taking you. And you were not happy about it.
Things can happen, including say your brand new garden hose has a serious leak to it on the first day of using it. Plants need water, its a hot day. You depended on using that garden hose. It failed you.
There are more seanerios i can come up with, but when we do not depend on GOD to guide our every move we fail.
Doing things our way and not GOD’S way will always have us to trip and fail. Fail because we don’t know more than GOD our Creator. That’s totally impossible to even try to do.
We all will have a “I need you FATHER GOD ” moment, or moments when we will fall to our knees in prayer. No matter what level of faith you are in. When you are sincere in your prayers, GOD will answer you!
Ask me how I know. And I will tell you.
Isaiah 41:13 – For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Philippians 4:6 – Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

2 Corinthians 1:9 – But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
Romans 8:37 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Ahhh, the peace in knowing we serve a loving and perfect FATHER GOD who we can depend on at all times for all eternity is so comforting.
You know there is always some scripture to give food for a hungry and needy soul to feed on. The Bible was designed by our beloved FATHER GOD to be so.
When you need comfort for the season that you are in. Matthew chapter 5 with the beitudes you can find it there for starters.
When i read this scripture it is comforting. Study it and it will give you peace.
Below is a mac and cheese recipe. Not mine, but close to it.
