If only I were a gambler and bought a winning ticket. When I get that ticket, for sure, I would pay off all of my bills first. Get the bills out of the way.
Then I would be able to help my family seond, and my true friends third.
Of course, I would give to another ministry aside from this one here on my blog. I would ask GOD to lead me on that because of how people are in some churches and ministries.
But you have to be in it to win it. I don’t buy the lottery tickets to get money. That would be gambling, and it is not good.
So there is no chance of me winning the lottery. 🙂
This post today is late, for I usually have it posted hours before now. This did annoy me, for it seemed like there were distractions that needed to be tended to for no one else could tend to them.
When you are 6 years old, you look up to the adults in your life and think that you can’t wait until you are grown too.
When you see all of the responsibilities as a grown-up, you then miss being 6 years old. It can happen all at once in a year or a week. But you see what you were missing as a child.
Some good and some of it bad too.
Reading about our beloved JESUS in the wilderness shows me and you all that HE stayed focused on the end when all will be said and done.
Matthew 4:1-11
4 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Reading the word of GOD can mean different things each time you read it and hit you differently, too. It will depend on what you are going through at the time. Like with Matthew 4:1-11.
It seems like just because you are a follower of JESUS and people know it, they test you. The wicked are watching you to see just what they can use to tempt you to get off the track of righteousness.
Persistent wicked non-believers people who have no true cause to hate true believers are listening to demons to distract you from your focus on GOD.
Praise GOD openly with your mouth. Stay in prayer. Talk to GOD and HIS SON JESUS constantly 🙏🏾. People don’t have to know that you are communicating with GOD and JESUS. You can pray with your eyes open.
You could be at work. You can be looking at your computer and still be working. Don’t break your bond with them for GOD and HIS SON JESUS and the Holy Spirit that we can say is truly on our side ❤️
If you are going through a wilderness journey right now, pick up your Bible and read what our savior has gone through to show us the way.
