Picking and choosing.

toys r us bible

Good morning. afternoon and evening to all who re reading this blog post. I want to say this in that manner because we all see this at different times around the world.

Awhile ago I have had a conversation with a person who did say they were a person who said that they were a Christian. A we went on to talk about our faith , this one mentioned that they see nothing wrong with having premarital sex. Also they said that it did not say anything in the bible about not having sex without being married to the person you are with. This means this person will have sex with any person they desire without being married to them. Or if the person was married or single , they see nothing wrong with having sex with a married person. But yet they will quote scripture to anyone when they are trying to control to do what they want through making them feel convection about the sin they are in. We all are sinners, so this is not right.

I choose not to agree with any of that “look at you” because it made no sense to me at all. It is a contradiction of what God’s law state clearly in the Bible.

James 2:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

King James Version (KJV)
There are other things we may overlook in ourselves as we look at others who sin. But the sex issues are the most obvious when it comes to no control of this temptation. Many people are addicted to it and it causes may problems in whole their life and anyone else they come in contact with. They can not get over it easy, it is like how a drug addicts people by clinging on to the body the way it does.
Some will aim to find scripture to suit the life they chose. Changing the word of GOD is like lying or making our FATHER GOD appear to be “wishy-washy”. Not confirming and sticking to HIS word too. For the old testament was made with the commandments in it for us to follow to have a peaceful life here on earth. Like an instruction book on a good life by obeying GOD faithfully with a joyful heart. Just like how you will lovingly obey a good earthly Dad and Mom because you trust and love them.
So because GOD sent HIS son JESUS to earth to save all of us who do believe in HIM, to be saved from the sins we all have done , we live in the era of GRACE. I think people have forgotten the old testament. I think we need not to. For there in the old testament you will see the original ways that GOD had wanted us to live. Not the ways that we are living right now, even though we are saved because of JESUS, life will be so much simpler by listening to GOD.
GOD knows what is best, really. Things get complicated when mankind decides to do things his own way and turn away from GOD. This is why so many people struggle with relationships when they do leave GOD out of it. GOD knows what will happen if we turn from HIM, for HE knows the end result if we don’t. We will walk in misery, have no pure joy, no trust in HIM,  have a negative attitude because of it. And then too will hate all that loves GOD, and GOD too. Getting angry with GOD because you did not follow GOD and listen, seeing your way isn’t working for you.
Picking what you feel will be your liking to suit your lifestyle from the Bible or reading what you want it to mean and not what it says is not a good thing. It is saying things that GOD would not say.
If the Bible says not to have sex as how it is written in the book of Deuteronomy or Leviticus then don’t . You think life is good right now, but your are just making things complicated right now. If you dont follow GOD’s laws dont expect others who seek to follow GODs laws to follow you and mankind’s.
Those of us who seek to be in GODS kingdom when its time for our soul to leave the flesh want to do our very best to be good at all times. There are those of us who have addictions and seek help will turn to the Bible. All we have to do is to ask GOD and HIS beloved son JESUS for help. We can not do anything without them!

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

King James Version (KJV)

Look for peace in the Bible, verses that will tell you about peace. Encouragement from our GOD. Many people may not read the Bible for what ever reason and will not see the peace in it because they simply do not read it.

Here are some verses on this site that will show you what I mean. But many are out of context and you may choose to read more at this link….

See the Lord GOD knows we are not perfect and will need help in life. HIS word will lead us and guide us. The issues people in the Bible days had are the very same issues we suffer and go through right now with ourselves and each other when you think about it. Some people listen and some do not listen to GOD. And there in the old testament you see the end result of what they do when they do not. Like in the book of genesis with Noah and the Ark. They were warned. This is why we should read the old testament of the Bible so we can see that mankind is still making the same bad choices. Right now we live in the time of grace because of the sacrifice JESUS did give. We have all of this technology, and still don’t know what we are doing.

Like a disobedient child pulling away hard from a loving parents hand because they want to run over to stand over the edge of a cliff ,see what is at the bottom. Then falling over from a loose rock to its death even though the parent is screaming after them to stop. The child did not listen and wanted to do its thing its way and made a bad choice.

I pray that we all reading will get back into reading the old testament and also the book of revelation too. It will encourage you and lead you to understanding with prayer. I say again with prayer!!!

Go into reading the word with prayer for understanding as how GOD wants us to understand it. Not blocking out what you don’t want to read because you are doing what the Bible says not to do to get into the kingdom of heaven. Read it becasue you want to have peace and live in peace and earn your way into heaven by accepting the word with a joyful heart, and our savior the son of GOD, JESUS CHRIST.

I do pray that you all will recieve a blessing from the reading and sharing of this post. Have a beautiful day in the day that the LORD GOD has made!
