What personal belongings do you hold most dear?

The fact that JESUS is the son of the one and only true living GOD means a lot to me. To be so loved by the one and only true living GOD, to send HIS only son to this fallen world, is beyond my understanding of the amount or level of GOD’S love.

Not just for me but for all mankind.

JESUS made the ultimate sacrifice by giving HIS life on the cross. And that type of death is beyond painful for is a slow death designed by unsaved souls.

The cross to me represents what JESUS went through. Along with JESUS obeying and trusting our FATHER GOD to the end when JESUS said it is done.

My beloved Grandmother was a GODLY woman who had a large 3ft wooden cross with a bronze JESUS nailed on it. I was always fascinated by it and how it was designed. As a child, it made me think about JESUS as being so strong. To tolerate such cruelty from humans that HE came to save!

Since then, I have always wanted to have a cross of my own. To show my respect for what JESUS has done for all of us mankind. I still show my faith in GOD and HIS SON JESUS as I still wear the cross.

And I still have my Grandmother’s that was handed down to me.❤️❤️❤️

Do you have any collections?

We have more than one Bible in our car, what we carry with us, and we have in our house. There are times when we need to pray or look up scripture that is going to help us get through a situation.

The Bible is very comforting to Mr. When no one else is around, family is not near, GOD is. And HE let’s me know it too. As only the one who made me can.

I will write in my Bible personal things that came to me through reading a particular book and verse. These loving words from GOD will reach out to me as though they were ment just fir me in any situation.

Studying the Bible is continuous every single day. Having the KJV of the Bible is the 2nd version to read that I prefer. 2nd is the NIV. Then there is the chronological Bibles, too.

Even if there is no hard copy of the Bible near me for some reason, I have my cell phone for quick reference. Or laptop. The cell phone will quickly help you to look up verses..

I can never have enough of GOD,JESUS, THE HOLY GHOST, with GOD’S word around me.

How do you feel about cold weather?

I like the cold weather. But it doesn’t like me. If it gets to below 40 degrees, it is time for my heavy winter coat. 😐

The cold weather is good and bad. It looks beautiful when there is a snowfall that covers the trees in such a way that it looks like glass when the sun shines on them!

I know GOD created seasons for a reason. But it is beyond human understanding. And we can only assume as to why we have cold weather.

Cold weather does have its advantages. There are no flies , knats, or mosquitoes to bother you when you are outside. 😄

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – 3:8

¹ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

² A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

³ A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

I would love to be in temperatures of 65 to 75 degrees all year. I am happy to shelter, food, good health, and ways to keep warm when it is cold.

Have you ever broken a bone?

No. To the prompt question. Thank GOD ❤️

For thank GOD no one in my family has had a broken bone on my side of the family or in my husband’s that I am aware of.

Soup bones came to my mind.

The bones that get broken are chicken, pork, lamb, fish, turkey, or beef. I am sorry to say that for anyone who eats meat. I have tried to for about a year. It didn’t set well with, and I lost energy. 😕

But for this recipe from “serious eats” were cut. Still tasty though 😋

Roasted Marrow Bones

Ingredients

• 2 to 3 pounds (907g to 1360g) beef marrow bones, split lengthwise or cut crosswise into 2-inch segments
• 1 cup (28g) pickled flat-leaf parsley leaves
• 1 teaspoon (5ml) champagne vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
• Flaky sea salt
• Cracked black pepper
• Toasted slices of bread
• Pickled Mustard Seeds

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232ºC). Place marrow bones, marrow side up, on a tray or in an ovenproof skillet. Roast until bones are lightly browned, about 20 minutes. (Some fat will render from the marrow, but majority of marrow should stay in the bone.)
2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, toss parsley with vinegar and olive oil.
3. Sprinkle bones with salt and pepper. Serve bones immediately, with toasts, pickled mustard seeds, and parsley salad.

How do you balance work and home life?

When you do 40 hours or more a week you can get burned out depending on what you are doing repitionously. So even when you are off the clock you need to wind down.

And relax with your loved ones going out after work if you can. Even to get an ice cream for a treat on a nice summer evening over looking a lake or ocean.

We have our devotions to our FATHER GOD in Bible study and prayer.

For us, this is relaxing and quiet. No phones from the office, no office chit chat, no distractions to contend with.

But if it’s winter and you can’t find anything to do, being inside watching a movie or an interesting YouTube channel.

When I hear them get going and see them on YouTube on gardening, it takes my mind off of work. They are enjoying being out on their land. Growing their food!

The balance is with GOD in all you do. He is the balance!

What sacrifices have you made in life?

I was in the New York fashion industry and gave it a rest. I truly enjoyed designing my own designs. From making the 1st sketch to making the pattern to sewing the garment.

I really didn’t fit in as a Christian woman who was around such confusion. And this is in regard to what they wanted me to design garments to me was not practical.

To make designs for women who were less curvy than the normal or average natural woman. The height, measurements, and age is what each design favored was geared for females of 5ft 11in, 34-24-26, and 15 years old.

Then, provocative clothing that should only be worn at home with your spouse. The moral attitude of the people that were around me was not what I was used to.

I decided to leave that and work on my own as best as I could. But once you get married and then have kids, your dreams are on hold.

Because I didn’t agree with the fashion industry and had to compromise my faith. I’m not sorry either. I prefer my GOD and have my riches in heaven.

No uncomfortable feelings around people who are not into being righteous. And who don’t even care about JESUS except at Christmas time to sell things.

It is better to leave all of the glamor to be with GOD. 🙂 You know where your soul will be at rest in the end.

What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?

I am wearing a 5 year old hoodie this morning. It is warm and worn well. No holes or broken zipper.

I have always loved hooded jackets and sweaters. At most times, for me, a scarf is not enough in these winter days up north. That wind will find my neck through any narrow opening and make me just shiver!

Cozy, comfortable clothes on a chilly day. I have the basic zip front jacket hoodie in more than one color. You know, to break up the monotony.

Wearing a hoodie that came clean and warm from the dryer is like a hug from our savior JESUS. It is on that comfort level when it is cold weather.

Just out to get the mail? And having a bad hair day? Just put your hoodie on!

List your top 5 favorite fruits.

Why only 5? The one missing to make it 5 is concord dark sweet grapes! Then, to add extra would be strawberries, mangos, peaches , and plums! Gee, well, I guess I have a sweet tooth!

Can you imagine how it must have been in the garden of Eden with all of the perfect fresh fruits and vegetables that were there then?

If we grow our foods from seed, we can have freshness, but not like how it was for Adam and Eve.

People, I tell you, when you pick a fresh strawberry from your garden, it has a more strawberry flavor. Juicy and delicious.

And if you want to lose some weight and love sweets, then growing what you can in your zone can help.

If I could grow all of the fruits i love to eat, that GOD would allow, I would!
