As an free form, or hand drawn artist meaning not a graphic artist using computers. I am just old school about my art. I would love to make graphic when I am bale to get an updated computer.
But I am grateful for what I have right now.
As a black woman living in Upstate New York, I find it is a different world than Downstate New York. And for one to say they are a Christian and an artist that is looking for an Art Gallery to promote their work is almost futile. I feel like when I say I am a Christian people will look at me as though I have two heads. LOL!
There are galleries here, but the culture and ideas of what is art is not what I feel comfortable doing. Even with the nudes or other themes that are even more “out of the box” teachings of the type of art where college I attended art classes!
I would love to network with more local artists of any color, but I would love to meet more people of color too. Share ideas, learn about new call to artist events and so on.

Good morning or whatever time it is during the day for you all! I do pray you will all have a blessed day!
Being a Christian is hard work when you want to do what is right. Being a Christian artist is more of a challenge because many artists I meet in conversation are secular and do not have the same thoughts as I do. And when I meet one like in the organization I am a member of, it is like a breath of fresh air!
In the area mall the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier aka “FASST” I met up with Barbara and her brother Douglas as they were in the FASST store front as it were their turn to manage the store. As it turns out, she and her husband have a ministry as well!
She is an artist along with her brother and this was good to know. Not all of us artists feel we need to leave GOD out of our lives , and in this world when you want to do clean hearted drawings, it will make those who want to draw things not worth repeating.
People fascinate me because I care about their souls. I draw tracts, Biblical themes , portraits and couples. I do draw still life, but I would rather take photos of flowers to get the full impact of the color of how it is. That’s how I feel about it right now for what I draw, for I maybe led by the HOLY SPIRIT to draw something else.

My artwork was not in a major big newspaper like the New York Times, but I am grateful for what I got. When the LORD wants it to be known, and how it is to be known HE will let me know. GOD is cool like that.
Always stay humble while sharing your work. I hope I always will be. My husband and other people say I am and that is good. Once you think you are better than others that’s when you are shown you are wrong. I strive to be good and better than I was the last time I drew anything. I draw better from realife and Photos. I am able to take my time and pay attention to the lines of the subject. For when I do quick sketches it will be for children’s books like I have done for the Brooklyn Arts Sketchbook Project. That will be in another blog with those pictures.

Once I become known in GODS timing I will be able to make a living from it as GOD sees fit. So with that being said, I am not there yet. But I will not give up for I depend on GOD to lead the way.

Good morning all. I do pray that you all will have a blessed day n this day that the LORD has made!
We people are very hard-headed at times. I say this because of the things that we do. We at times try to do things our way and it fails. Instead of listening to our GOD and doing HIS perfect way. We people are no where being perfect.
And can not save ourselves from the sins we do. Yet some of us feel that just being a good person is okay with GOD and we will enjoy heaven when it is our time. Putting aside the fact that we are doing things our way. Even those of us who repent still need JESUS when we slip up from not being perfect. For JESUS is the key to unlock the door to heaven.
All this is to say humans can be stubborn and not get along with others, when we want to have things done our way. It can lead to misunderstandings and confusion when we do not take the time to just listen and think about what the other person is saying or trying to say to us.
Then there is a conflict of emotions that has to be dealt with that will divide people if turn our back to the person we have the issue with. And this could snowball into a silly feud of sorts OR WORSE.
Divisions of people who will not associate with one person or persons because of the rumours that was spreading from even just the 2 original people who did not get along without trying to make peace. Like a “The Hatfield and the McCoys feud” sort of thing. #GOOGLE this if you have not heard about it. You know the bible is very clear about having a dispute with our Christian brethren.

32 And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

When we do not take the time to go about forming unity then we are not doing GOD’S will. If we can not get along here on earth then…..do you think GOD will allow us to take this silliness into HIS house?
As followers of JESUS and His teachings of the word of GOD there is a bond among us through the blood of Christ. Just like you will see the secular people who will bond with each other. They will do so even in a meeting full of people. They have met for the very first time in life as though they have been friends since birth. Which is why when true Christians meet for the first time there is a bond as well, like you have met a long-lost cousin or sibling.
We have more power in us with the heart of JESUS than we can ever understand. It is so important that we carefully select who we are going to associate with in life. For not all people seek to do you well. You are not missing out on hanging out with secular people who do not love GOD or want to repent from the sins that they love. They will resent you and try to change you to love the sins that they love.
Starting with ourselves in our hearts. What is it that GOD will have us to do? Are we part of the problem? I have to check myself many times in prayer and reading GOD’S word. I need to be right and have GOD pleased with me. We can help to bring unity with these issues if we HAVE GOD LEAD US.
Is there division in the home? Between the spouses and children? Are we taking the time to give each other attention, are we selfish and putting ourselves first? Do we put GOD first in all we do so that we have a clear path to righteousness?
At work where there are clicks that gossip between and about others at work? The women who are comparing themselves with the women they are jealous of trying to give them a bad name? This sets a spiritual warfare in the office when certain people want to overlook others, speak evil of them in any way.
In the Church where the members seek to have the glory and attention to themselves and not out GOD? Playing politics in the Church with favors and seeking preference over the other members of the Church. In doing so creating “Church Hurt”?
Do we make stereotypical judgements on people we do not now, making a negative situation and uncomfortable atmosphere for them? Are we assuming things that are incorrect and acting out on it only because you feel it is right? As with people who do not look like they are part of your family or clan you feel are bad people? If you do these things you are making a division along with making these people feel uncomfortable around YOU. Many times those who are white may feel they need to treat people of color in a certain way because they have been raised to do so, and act nervous around people of color wind up making a un-GODLY situation. This is not a good thing. I tell you even in certain Churches there is division of sorts becasue of white is going on in their minds. The LORD GOD did not put this, confusion, hate and stereotypical thoughts in our minds because these thoughts cause division with people.
Matthew 7:1 – 7:5
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye?

Unity is something that we need as Christians to encourage each other as we have to deal with all of the nonsense of the world that is distracting us from our LORD and SAVIOUR. If we do not uplift each other than we are like-minded with those who do not want any good for the tribe of JESUS.

It means when we support Christian prayer warriors, true believers, lovers of GOD and Christ JESUS we are united and boned in faith. You know how you feel when you are the only one from the tribe of JESUS in a room and the ones who are following the fallen one are against you? You will cling to a lover of JESUS as soon as you connect. Those who follow the fallen one will stand back for there is more power in you two or more than a whole room full of those that hate our saviour.

On the summer days in my area when I go outside and see what the LORD GOD has made, and I smile. I love the plant life there and I look forward to each spring when my husband and I are able to go out to see and enjoy what the LORD GOD has made from year to year. It is a blessing to see these things.

GOD has blessed us with the plants you see here in the picture. and they are called “Tiger Lily” .And they come back every single year in all of their wonderful color and beauty. There are other plants I love too that are naturally there without me having to buy seed for that grows even along side of the road.
When the berries are ready to pick they look like this in the bowl you see me cleaning . You have to remove all of the bug, small twigs and whatever else in the berries that should not be in there. In the end it will be worth your time.
Elderberry will grow near water or close to it. And the jam is yummy. Along our walks there is enough to make some jam and syrup for the family. Elderberry has good health benefits to it. Good for colds or the flu.

The giant sunflowers we grow provide food and beauty to the land as well. They follow the sun until their days are done and return to dust, just like faithful people who love GOD and HIS son JESUS….they follow the Son of GOD until their days are done to return to dust and be with the LORD !!!. We plant these from seed and enjoy them every year. I tell you GOD is so good.

These beauties we see them on our nature walks. I think they are call “Prince Williams” Not sure. But they do look something like them. Very pretty plants….naturally grown without me planting seeds.

Apples grow on the side of the road as well, most people have some kind of fruit trees that grow on their property, and it is a good thing to see them happy and growing each year.
We have crab apples that I have made syrup to give to my kids. It takes a lot of these tiny beauties to make a good batch. So seeing that I work full-time, I did not make a whole lot for it would take all day long just to clean a batch. So they each will have their own jar , all same size and to the same full line. They all know I love them all the same.

I do not know what type of vine this is, but is very pretty. The color is not picked up in the picture as how it looks in real life. The flowers are tulip shaped…. or trumpet-shaped. I saw a pod on the ground and picked it up to dry the seeds in it so I could grow it for myself.

Good morning, or what ever the time of day maybe for you where you are when you are able to read this blog. I hope all of you are doing well!
Today is daylights savings time in my area. All clocks are to be moved one hour earlier. Meaning we will lose one hour of sleep. Meaning we are going by the time that mankind has set.
I want to say, that the time that GOD has planned for us all in HIS hands. So what ever you are going through in life that is giving you a cross to bear….it too shall pass. But in GODS timing for HE know when it is right for you.
2 Peter 3:8
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

GOD sees what we are going through, and knows what is ahead of us on our journeys in life. Which road we will take and what is on that road too. Sometimes it is a bumpy ride on a bumpy road until it smooths out from us being patient and persistent in faith. Looking ahead at the signs and to the end of the road which is our LORD GOD there welcoming us home.

GODS timing is perfect. All we need to do is to listen to what HE is telling us. And not to be distracted by anything that is not coming from GOD. So when you pray, step back to listen to what GOD has to say to you.
Be still, be patient and wait on GODS timing. Seek after GOD’s light and timing.

Know that GOD did send HIS beloved son JESUS here on this earth to save all of mankind from our sins. Accept JESUS as your savior and feel safe and comfortable knowing that you are protected and highly favored and loved.
There is NO love that can compare to GOD’s love….none. I feel HIS love right now as I tell you these things. No parent, siblings, relatives, spouse, significant other or earthly friends will ever match up to the love of GOD.
Lamentations 3:25 – 3:26

26 [It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
With this kind of love coming from a perfect being…..how can anything HE gives us be wrong? I tell you there is no wrong in the LORD GOD. So HIS timing, HIS ways. HIS love, HIS guidance and HIS timing is perfect. Perfect in all ways and in all times too, 24/7 and 365!
Let us all wait on the LORD GOD for HIS perfect timing and see what the blessings are that HE will so lovingly bring to us all.
May you all the righteous desires of your hearts, share this message with others so that they will get a blessing too as well.
This is about forgiveness. It is from YOUTUBE’s “Living for Christ’s” channel. There are a lot of videos that have dreams about visions and dreams. I happen to listen to what and how this man was saying what was going on. For it is true we all need to forgive.
It is a very hard this to do id you are prideful, or selfish, or feel that you are always right. If you were hurt and stayed angry with someone and continue to hold onto the anger at the same level as it had just happened.
Let it go.
Let go of the anger these people have given you so you will get into heaven because GOD will forgive you.
Pray over it, for many times you will not be able to if they died and you didn’t get a chance to clear things up.
You want GOD to forgive you of all of the sins you have done, so you had better think about all of the people that have hurt you that you need to forgive.
Let go of the hate, the anger, and pride and forgive.
For how can our beloved FATHER in heaven for give us if we do not share the same heart of forgiveness towards others if we are not doing what our beloved FATHER in heaven would do for us?
Share this message to all you know so that they will do the same. We all need to check ourselves every day. Pray. Repent. And have peace.

As we go through life we all may have issues and complications in life that will cause us to go through trails and tribulations that we did not expect to have to go through. For none of us have perfect days.
But for the grace of GOD do we get through things when we trust and believe in HIM. There are distractions in our lives that will cause us to make a wrong turn and stubbornly not listen to our GOD.
GOD sees the whole picture in our lives, so as we go as how HE is leading us, we are remaining in GODS plan for us. Of course we can go on and do things our way, but we as people do not see the whole plan. We do not have this kind of wisdom.
So therefore we should never judge a person for any reason when you see them down and out. For seeing that JESUS has compassion for us enough to sacrifice his life for us on the cross, we can do the same for all people.
judging by stereotypical thoughts that were handed down to you from as a child is not right. You may have never seen this person ever before, so you do not know them at all. A person who is on the street with no place to go, has to have a good reason as to why they are there.
They may have been lawyers, cops, wealthy business people, mothers, fathers, well-educated people or doctors. All you see is someone who is living on the sidewalk. You may assume they are mentally ill, someone addicted to drugs, lazy and does not want to work, or someone who does not want to be around people.
If these people didn’t want to be around people….then why are they out in the open? Out were there is the most human traffic around them? They are usually people who are from the area they are living on the streets from. They used to live in the neighborhood with family, and full-time jobs. Have gone to school and graduated from college too.
A turn of events in the wrong direction.
We all need to learn to have a heart like our beloved JESUS. Many people are so lost that they can not hear the LORD for the confusion that they are in.

Remember we all need JESUS to lead us out of the misery we maybe in….and even in our lowest level of misery. When we are down and can no longer stand on our own, our JESUS will pick us up when no one else will.
JESUS is so awesome. HE was sent to earth by GOD who loves us all so that he sent HIS only begotten son so that we all me live. But we need to believe i n GOD first and foremost and accept JESUS as our saviour.

When you listen to it…if you have JESUS in you it will make you feel warm and touched. You know JESUS is love because when you talk to JESUS in prayer and just in need of comfort this is the same feeling you get.
This is not the only song I have felt this way, but this is just one I am sharing with you. JESUS is the one you can depend on when people fail you. People will fail you, so putting any dependency on people is not the best thing to do for people are not perfect.

Remember GOD first when you go through your test and trails of faith. As we go through

You maybe going through in your life right now where as you do not understand why you are going through it, have no clue. You maybe going through something where secular and so-called Christians are testing you because of the way that they live and see your JESUS light shinning in you and seek to put it out.
They seek to ruin your good name and integrity and make you look as evil as they are. Stand firm, and keep your faith for your blessing will be coming soon and you will praise GOD for the help.
This is a fallen world. Prayer and clinging on to the savior tight is how we get through this. And you will get through it because GOD the Father loves you so that he gave HIS only begotten son JESUS to save us from our sinful lives.

I do pray that you all will have a blessed day today. For this is another day that they LORD has given us to live and give HIM praise!
Each one of us that walk the face of the earth will have our ups and downs. It is how we deal with it and to whom we head to for help.
We maybe going through something where we are out of money to pay our bills like the federal employees that were going through the shut down , or laid off from any other type of job.
We maybe sick going through such a pain and sickness you can not see the end of it as you pray for relief, or it could be a loved one going through a sickness. You may be in tears as you pray to the FATHER GOD for relief from all of this because you can not bear it any longer.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
We could be going through something where a person at school, work or even at church is out to get even by trying to steal your joy because they do not have joy in their heart.

I have learned to trust in the LORD more and more each day of my life because not only of what I may do, but what others may try to do to me just becasue I am a child of GOD.
See there are many people who do not know of GOD. They do not know JESUS and why He came to earth. They have no clue. I need to keep my faith on check each and every second of the day.
Any one who loves the LORD will be distracted from our direction, but we do not have to get off track. We just regain our focus and keep trusting in GOD. For there is where the true comfort and joy we all need rests. Some of us may not understand that yet, but I do pray that we all will before JESUS has to return.
Distractions will lead to slipping up. Doing our best to be right can not be done alone. We need JESUS to hold up like training wheels on a bike as we pedal along on the JESUS track. And I will tell you sometimes the peddling gets so hard and almost impossible for me that I need JESUS to make it possible holding me steady and giving me a gentle comforting push! Amen!!!!

Find peace, and patience as you pray and ask our beloved GOD for help. HE will help you in all that you do in life, but better than you will ever imagine.
GOD has helped me make it through the things of this world that I could never have done alone, and on my own accord. My understanding on things is limited as a human being. GODs wisdom is beyond our understanding, this is why we NEED to trust in GOD. There is no way we could ever get the whole picture, we as humans have no way of doing so ever.

In the world there are many of us who are single looking for the one who will love us with all of their heart as how we will for them. We will look for this person and at times we will look in the wrong places. In the wrong people. For the wrong reasons.
Trusting in GOD’s plan is perfect because only HE knows what lurks in the heart of all mankind. It is hard to trust in GOD when we are stubborn or the flesh is weak. But for some it seems to be easier to trust in what mankind will say just because we want to be right with GOD.
GOD’s love is pure, unconditional, right and comforting. Trusting in GOD to lead you to the right person for you. GOD will not lead to confusion, or about the mate HE has sent before you. You will feel it happen and it will even feel right 100% in a GODLY way. As it has for me, it will for you as well.
The way how GOD has planned it is so easy, right and most of all sacred. The natural male gender is sacred, the natural woman gender is sacred. These two will then bound as man and wife to be fruitful and to multiply making more mankind and womankind.
Genesis 1 27-28
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:
When you are feeling lonely, the devil will steal this from you , the sacredness of the natural bound for a man and a woman with his distractions to take this joy from you. You will not know what is sacred by GOD and run from it towards what is not. This can happen to you if you do not have GOD leading you, even from as a child. If you do not know about the word and what GOD is telling us all ….you will not know unless someone tells, you pick up the bible to read it for yourself, or through GOD divine intervention.
Trust in the word of GOD to show you how to deal with the ways of the world and the confusion you see going on right now. looking for a mate is a distraction if you are not listening to GOD who is telling to wait as HE is leading you. The people of the bible had the same issues of what we have today, and with GOD’s help they got through it. See there in the bible there are lessons on how to get through these times from the people in the bible.
You want the best one for you that you can trust, who will pray with you and for you at any second when you need it. Who will go to church with you when you go, this is part of fellowship with like-minded people. There is power in prayer for as you need it, someone will need yours as well too.
The ceremony of marriage is sacred too, and with the right mate you will please GOD. GOD loves us so that in this life we can not see all of it until we are before HIM in HIS heaven bowing before HIM giving HIM honor!

It is better to wait for the GODLY mate than to just pick one on your own understandings and desires. We humans do not know what we are doing to each other or ourselves.
If we were abused at any level , age, place, or never taught what love is or the word of GOD….we will give into complicated relationships. Even if they are just your friends you socialize with besides work or school. Even if it is the current “trend” or what is “popular” with many…. if it is not of GOD leave it alone. Your soul is way more important than a weakness of the flesh or a lie of something you think you want to hear.
I will tell you, I as a natural-born woman did want to be married and have kids. But I had known it is better for a woman to wait for GOD to send the right man to me. And not the one I wanted through the flesh. The flesh only sees the cover of what is really in the heart. GOD sees what the heart truly is. A woman who trusts in the LORD doesn’t chase after a man to be her husband ever. Women trust in the LORD who will bring the man who is to be your husband. Men, trust in the LORD who is leading you to be your wife.

GODS love is unconditional at all times. The right love that will show us the right love. And when we marry someone who is GODLY this love is in them too. This is why it is best to trust in the LORD at all times. GOD will lead us right.
Trust in GOD, trust in HIS beloves son JESUS. For without JESUS the mediator between GOD and man we can not get into heaven.
