I pray that you all will have a blessed day today. And if you are planning on having a garden this year it will be well watered by the amount you might be getting right now. In my area , we are getting enough to have free small ponds in certain areas too. But with no fish though!
I have been hearing a lot in the news regarding the conflicts and battles between children and their parents these days. And the lack of proper discipline is the result of people who do not know how to interact socially with other properly. We need our parents to walk with us and show us the way in life in order to survive and to be morally correct by GOD’S order. Not the parents of today who do not discipline their children and cater to them as though the child is in control.
Our parents are people who make mistakes and are not perfect. None of us are, but when we are blessed with parents that had lead us to JESUS and to know about salvation this is good for them and us. We are bonded in the love of JESUS and for each other. You can love your parents without JESUS I suppose, but that is in a way that I am not able to speak on. Because I do love JESUS.
I lost my beloved Mother on memorial day 2024. It was awful. It was as though a light went out in my world. I lost my best human friend here on this earth, for no one can replace her. I confided in her, sought her advice when I was in a pinch. As how a child would. My Mother was a good GODLY woman, as best as she knew how to be. As all GODLY mankind who seek to be allowed into heaven by our King JESUS.
I do not like to see children of any age disrespect their parents. And there are times when I see this out in public, I will say to the child, “Listen to your Mother.” And give the child a stern look. You have seen those children who act up in the grocery store running about out of control, with the Mother begging for the child to behave.
And even when they are older like teenagers. I have seen a Dad and his son in Dunkin Doughnuts ordering. They were waiting on the line while the son wanted to use the self-serve screen in the store to order. The Dad had already said to leave that alone. Well, the self-serve was okay to use, but the Dad wanted to do it the old-fashioned way. Meaning to have an associate take the order. I said to the son, “Listen to your Dad and don’t mess with his coffee.” The Dad smiled and laughed. I understood because we both like our coffee in the morning. The son was still trying to work that self-serve screen.
LORD have mercy.
Our beloved Mothers had the option whether to birth us or abort us. She went through the full term with us, carried us through the pregnancy to birth. Fed us, cleaned us up each day, took care of us when we were sick, loved us, protected us. With the exception of the unloving and uncaring mothers, I am not talking about them. We survived regardless.
Not forgetting the Dads who took care of us too right along with the Mothers. When you have a good Dad that took care of you, that was comforting. Dads show strength, compassion, love, and wisdom, and protection too. Both the sons and daughters need a good Dad.

I will say that it is a blessing to have parents who follow GOD’S order, who fear GOD and have accepted JESUS as their savior. For they lead the way to GOD and JESUS for their children to follow. GOD id the ultimate perfect FATHER above all earthly Dads her on earth.
Honor your Dad and Mom, for when you were a baby to now they looked out for you and helped you when they could. They clothed and fed you and kept a roof over your head as best as they could. When they are old it will be your turn to do the same. Do not forget that GOD sees and know all that we all think, do, and say at all times towards our parents.
