It Is Finished

28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” 

29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 

30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Hello everyone, I do hope and pray that you all are having a blessed day! Each day brings us closer to spring and warmer weather with the flowers that will come into bloom! YAY!!!

When I think about the things that or beloved JESUS went through as a man here on earth and all of the mean things that were done to him just to save our souls, I feel so sorrowful. Because this was done out of love for all mankind.

And to know that the very people of who were to be saved nailed him to the cross. To know that he came for all mankind all over the entire world to be saved and to follow HIM. This is just so very awesome to me because we all are sinners, none of us are without sin except our beloved JESUS.

I can imagine a peaceful minded loving and kind man, who no one has ever seen him do any kind of evil….being treated as such to be nailed to a wooden cross.

JESUS was accused of doing evil things, lieing, lied on, blasphemy, spat on, slapped, whipped, clothes taken from him, mocked, made to carry his own cross to then be nailed on…to mention just some of the things mentioned in the Bible.

JESUS is strong and wise, went through all of this when he did not have to at all. But love made had HIM go through all of these things and more just to save us all from our horrible sins and ways so we would not see death. That we will be saved and be with the HOLY FATHER GOD in heaven for all of eternity long.

I am so grateful to GOD for HIS son JESUS. That JESUS is the key to heaven , peace and perfect love.

If you do not know JESUS, and you want JESUS in your life, ask JESUS in and to let HIM make himself know before you. HE will.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.(KJV)

Have a blessed day, remember who loves you so much that he GAVE his life for you, me and all mankind. I say GAVE, because those men back then did not kill JESUS were they could say that they took HIS life. JESUS gave up the ghost and said …IT IS FINISHED!

Hello everyone, I pray that all is well and you will have a blessed day in church if you decide to go.

I came about a church that is in the ground made hundreds of years ago if not more. And this has fascinated me. It is carved in to the ground. I can not imagine doing this kind of work back then.

Here are some pictures of the Church. Not understanding as to why the men back then thought to make the church there, it is still a wonder.

I just thought this was cool. I don’t know how many of you have seen this site, but love the ways that people back in that day used the knowledge and talent they had to worship GOD.

Hello everyone, I do pray that you all will have a blessed day. For this is another day that the LORD has made for us all.

I have seen many people that cling to the idea of spirituality and turn their nose up at religion, saying it is too structured. Yet they acknowledge there is a higher power or there is a GOD. And prefer to be “spiritual”.

There are so many beliefs out there to confuse people and keep them from GOD and from accepting JESUS as their saviour of their souls.

To me from what I can see, if any religion or church does not teach that JESUS is the savoir of our souls who do believe in HIM, they are sending every soul in there to eternal hell.

John 14:6 King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (KJV)

When you are into the spirituality way of thinking, you are not into the truth behind salvation. You are distracted from the truth. JESUS is the truth. None of us mankind will enter into heaven unless we accept JESUS as our key to unlock the door of heavens gates.

ALL of those who have died on before us, who have not received JESUS as their savoir will not get into heaven according to scripture.

And I do understand that many reading this will have people in their lives that have gone on before them that were good people will not want to hear they are not making it into heaven. But the Bible is clear as how GOD’s plan is.

But it is NOT too late to save your own soul from hell. Allow JESUS in your life. Accept JESUS as your savior now.

1 John 4:1

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Choosing a religion that does not teach salvation, is as the lost leading the lost sort of thing.

In those non- Christian religions, they may assume just being a good person, doing good deeds, doing nice things for their family and friends and giving large donations to the needy is being right with GOD. Or just a higher being that they call GOD.

But if you do not love GOD and HIS son JESUS and have a righteous relationship with them both, and have accepted JESUS as savior that is all you will accomplish is just being called a nice person by your peers.

Ephesians 2:8 – 2:9

8. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of GOD.

9. Not of works , lest any man should boast.

There are many people out there who think they can buy their way into heaven. Or do favors for their friends and have it known they are a good person. It is not true. Ephesians 2:8 and 9 will correct us on that thought. Some faiths will teach this to people to do good acts/deeds and favors so they will get into heaven.

A person I know will says that they are spiritual. They listen to a person who comes on the internet. This person they listen to is into spiritual thinking, ways that that way appear to be good to this person I know. But what I see is this internet person is playing with their souls fate that will lead them to hell. They are into astrology, dreams, spiritual energy and similar things that has nothing to do with Christianity at all. This internet person is a false prophet.

Read the word of GOD to get understanding and protection from the nonsense of those who are false prophets. Because these workers of evil will seek after those who have not come to know GOD and his son JESUS.

Proverbs 2:6

“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

I do pray that you will share this with all of your loved ones, for we not want to have anyone crash and burn in hell. Not even your enemies, for they need to be saved too. And once they see the light and repent then they will be part of the body of Christ you in heaven!

Galatians Chapter 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Hello everyone, I do pray that all is well with you and that our beloved GOD and HIS one and only son will lead and guide your steps at all times. For we can trust our GOD for HE is loving and knows all.

Temptation is all around us who seek after GOD at all times. The evil one will try to distract us and put up a wall to confuse us and cloud our thinking if we do not stay in prayer.

This will never be an easy task for any of us. Some people may look as though they got it covered when you can truly see the fruits of their labor. What you do not see is the struggle they go through each day and how hard they pray when you are not around.

They are prayer warriors whose heart is after the LORD. They read and study the scripture for peace, wisdom and comfort from the LORD GOD. And they get it too. Ask me how I know.

This chapter and verse from Galatians chapter 5 regarding the fruit of the spirit comes to me when just living my day to day walking the face of the earth in this world.

There is a small amount of the fruit of the spirit around us all in these times,such as love and charity.

LONGSUFFERING, a. Bearing injuries or provocation for a long time; patient; not easily provoked.

The Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in goodness. Ex. 34.

I tell you all who read this , to know, that we all have crosses to bear. For no one has a perfect life because of the fall from grace from the first bite of the forbidden fruit by our Grandparents Adam and Eve.

I do encourage you all to read about all of the situations that happened in life in the Bible. You will find that our ancestors have been tempted with the same sins we are with now in our times. It is the same evil one who tempted them, that is doing the tempting now in present time.

Nothing is new when it comes to sin and temptations. How we get through it , is what counts. And we can get through it with our LORD GOD. Just call out in faith and he will help you.

James 4:7

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Close encounters of the JESUS kind.

close encouters 3-25-19

Good morning to all! I pray that you all are doing well this new day. For each day that passes is getting closer to spring! Yay!

I had been thinking about how we all need to be closer to the what is good and right with the ways of GOD and have a peaceful way about us. A closer encounter. If you GOOGLE “Close encounter” you will come up with some links.

I came across an old move movie called “Close Encounters” from 1977. It is about how people all over are drawn to a location, like minded and lost in the thought of aiming to get to this location.

If you flip this to how it can be for those of us that are like minded and aim to be with the LORD…..this is something like this. You are focused and not distracted because you are seeking the destination of heaven.

If we are in the body of Christ JESUS then we are like mined, wanting to aim for the higher place away from the ways of this fallen world. We look up and have set our hearts on being with the LORD.

Acts 17:27-29 King James Version

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

Keeping our focus on the LORD is hard, because the evil one is always trying to take our eyes off our prize of our LORD JESUS . To be with HIM in all eternity long! Yay!!!!

Philippians 3:14 King James Version

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Keep your mind and heart on our prize in heaven. You will be encouraged by reading the word of GOD that is true and loving.

All who seek after Christ are in the body!

Good day to you all. I do hope all is well as we are now into a new month in 2020. It is the month for Black history and Valentine”s Day. Both are good thing s to know about for all people.

Speaking of love on Valentines day…this is something that we all should consider doing is to share the love we have from the body of Christ with others. Many have no idea what this is.

As I have read the way that JESUS would talk to women in the Bible HE had compassion for us. Understanding too. But this was for everyone, not just us women. The Children along with the men. So yeah, that is pretty much everyone of all ages. The elders, infants and those in between too.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 KJV

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

14 For the body is not one member, but many,

There is no division between the peoples of the body of Christ. Not an issue with the body of Christ when you understand what it is about. There should be unity. Read 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

We are all one, with differents jobs to do as a body would have hands, a head, a heart to make the body work in unity. We are all given different gifts to do to serve. Cool!

Let us do our serving as how GOD wants us to do so, to encourage others to GOD. Let us listen to GOD to find our gifts, and not to compare us to others. Others have their own gifts as how to serve. A foot can not do what the head can do. And if the leg hurts and you can not walk, then the whole body will suffer trying to move about in pain.

Let us find fellowship with our fellow members of Christ so we can edify each other.

Sunday dinner for a cold snowy and rainy day.

Good morning ,afternoon or evening to you all.

Since as a child, I remember those Sunday dinners that my beloved Grandma made. After Church , I recall the house smelling like good food for the meal was done before we went to church and all we had to do was to heat it up some and eat.

Life was so easy as a child, I tell you. All I had to do was go to Church (I always enjoyed it) go to school, play with friends and cousins, be a good kid and stay out of trouble. And enjoy my Grandmas cooking with my loving family.

I understand that not all people had that kinds of life, and I will say mine was not perfect. There have been some sour kids at school that seemed like something from another planet…but knowing they don’t live with me I was happy about that,

What I loved most was Chicken and Fish. Still do as I think about it. Easy on the tummy more so than beef for me. LOL!

My baked chicken is very easy to do. It is easier than fried. If I can get a whole chicken on sale , I will cut it up like you see below.

Baked chicken. I use parchment paper for an easier clean up on my baking dishes.

Ingredients: Just in case you choose to make it are very simple. Seasoned salt and black pepper to taste. Just sprinkle the seasonings on lightly on your chicken. It can be a whole uncut or cut up like I did. Place your chicken on a buttered baking dish at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Or until it looks like mine where the skin is nice and brown and crispy.

My husband loves potatoes. Loves them mashed even better!

Ingredients: 6 – 3 inch fresh peeled potatoes in a pot just covered with water. Then boiled until tender. Drain water. Add 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup of milk, salt to taste and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Simple stuff. Just use your mixer to make it smooth and fluffy.

Fluffy mashed potatoes.

Now we like peas. I just heat up some frozen peas.

As for dessert, I might just make Jello. Depending on the timing and how many other thing I need to get done during the day.

Enjoy your Sunday dinner with your family, friends or only just with the LORD. The LORD is always with us no matter where we are.
